GrumBeast is a new, limited-edition collection of NFTs that fuses the haunting minimalism of Grum Reapur with the bold style of hand-illustrated BizarreBeasts. It's a unique collection of NFTs from two distinct yet complementary artistic worlds (and Glanker Empires).

This artistic collaboration blends the cynical nature of my hand-illustrated BizarreBeasts creations with the dark and haunting aesthetic of @rumbl.eth’s Grum Reapur art toy universe. This original, hand-illustrated BizarreBeasts ($BB) artwork was created exclusively for this one-of-a-kind collaboration with Grum Reapur ($REAPS).

It all began when @rumbl.eth cast this prompt to the Grum Reapur ($REAPS) Empire community:

Grum is evolving and you’re the architect. Drop your weirdest, wildest character or creature idea to be reborn in Grum form. Pop culture? Folklore? Total fever dream? All fair game.

I was instantly inspired and created a custom BizarreBeasts illustration to capture the concept—something that paid homage to the quiet intensity of the Grum Reapur form while channeling the expressive style that defines my work.

@rumbl.eth and I loved the result so much that we decided to make it an official, mintable collaboration. The BIZARRE GrumBeast artwork is now available as a limited-edition NFT collection on Rodeo.club and Highlight.

The collection includes 14 pieces:

• GrumBeast #1-#4 are available on Highlight NOW!

• GrumBeast #5-#13 will be dropped on Rodeo - the most BIZARRE collectors will collect them all! Dropping between May 12th and 31st.

Two Worlds, One Creature

@rumbl.eth’s Grum Reapur began as a haunting handmade art toy—a hooded figure representing grief, mental health, and transformation. It’s since become an icon in the art toy scene and web3 culture alike.

My project, BizarreBeasts, is a hand-illustrated onchain art world where BIZARRE characters explore themes of dark absurdity through comics, games, and NFTs.

GrumBeast is what happens when these two visions collide: a character that is darkly haunting and humorously BIZARRE.
